How we got Started?
Hello Ladies, I’m Sharron Halstead, Founder of Petitepeds. It’s a pleasure to meet you.
If you are here it is because you have petite feet and are looking for a place to finally have a chance to wear “adult” shoes! Am I right?
Well that was me 5 years ago, so…
I love dressing up, and partying, driving, and dancing and I do all this in sky high heels. The only problem is that those high heels have always been a tad too big!
For years I strutted my stuff using cotton and multi layered insoles to stop my feet from falling out! Not ideal and definitely not too good for my back either! But this has been my predicament for 10 years since migrating to Australia.
10 years later, with a back that was sore from keeping this façade up, hamstrings that were all strung out, and a hard earned Business degree, it finally clicked…hey I can start a business supplying small shoes to women like myself, who want to have freedom of choice!

It is a very informative book brimming with ideas and very direct advice on how petite ladies should dress for their height, body shape and skin-tone.
I have just located your website and absolutely love the shoes of all types in the display. I am a person with very small feet (usually European size 33) who loves fashionable shoes but am always frustrated in my attempts to find them and usually has to settle for kids shoes.
